squidGuard proxy server

by Marshall on May 4, 2004

I was messing around with squidGuard today because I was sick of getting blocked from sites that I know that should pass through. Apparently you have to add

client_netmask 255.255.255.255

to the squid.conf file in order to have an acl of only 1 IP address, ie:

src allowall {     ip  192.168.x.y    }

Now maybe I can set up advertising blocking from the proxy server instead of relying on adblock

WordPress
I am beginning to dislike this version of wordpress (1.0-alpha-2). There are some bugs with the posting system, like setting <pre> tags. 1.0.2 is out so I think that I will update to that version soon.
