Here is something that I have wanted to add to my blog for awhile. A top 5 list, ala High Fidelity. I was too lazy to code one and last night while I was trying to fall asleep it dawned on me that I could just add a new category fot Top 5 lists and create a new page which only displays that category. For now the Top 5 will just be listed on the main page. Without furthur ado I present to you my top 5 favorite movie directors.

I choose Wes as #1 because I thoroughly enjoy every minute of his movies. What is weird about the Top 5 directors list is that it doesn’t directly coincide with my favorite movies. One of my all-time favorite movies is Signs by M. Night Shyamalan (imdb) and he didn’t even crack the top 5. I also decided that I had to put both the Coen brothers into the number 4 spot, seeing as they always do their movies together. I couldn’t leave one out or have them taking up two spots on the list.
