Give “W” A Brain

  • Here is an extremely frustrating game. You’ll need sound to hear the quips but be carefull, there is a time limit as I found out while trying to establish a pattern. My high score is 4 and the endings seem to be pretty much the same for 0-4. Good luck!

  • https://www.typekey.com/ – “TypeKey is a free, open system providing a central identity that anyone can use to log in and post comments on blogs and other web sites.” It is like Microsoft’s Passport, but open sourced and is currently only used in the web log world to validate posters. I wonder if WordPress has a plugin for it.

  • PouPou shows how to write a simple SSL server in 3 easy steps using Mono. (On a side note, Mono’s website has been updated since the last time I was there. It now has the Novell look and feel to it, since they bought Ximian and thus inherited the Mono Project)

On a side note. I am still looking for a web based RSS aggregator, similar to Planet that is easy to use and shows posts aggregated on the date posted. I had tried Bloglinesbefore but it seemed to delete the posts after you have read them, which was very annoying. I see that they have some Firefox extensions which I think I will try after I upgrade Firefox on my dusty home Windows XP box.

I just use Firefox’s Live Bookmarks for reading RSS feeds. It’s very limited, but quick and easy to use.

I’ve used that in the past too, but do not like having to navigate menus to read the news. I’d rather have all the news I want on a single page so I can read it all. I did find a site called Kinja last night and it is close to what I was looking for. It looks like this. All of the rss feeds are aggregated together and put in chronological order. Right now it is a little messed up because when you import certain feeds, it thinks that all older posts were from the original import date.
