Airport Woes

So my flight to Seattle was to leave Milwaukee at 6:25 AM this morning. After taxiing about the runway, we suddenly find the plane parked at the gate from whence we just departed. The pilot comes on the PA system and says that the “Check Engine” light came on and that service technicians were currently in the process of changing an oil filter. “30″ minutes later (now almost 7:30 AM) we hear that the oil filter has been replaced and that we will be departing shortly. “10″ minutes later the pilot says that he was mistaken and that we would be leaving in “25 – 30″ minutes. Now at 8:30, the pilot exclaims that the techs want to run some diagnostics to make sure that they fixed the problem. “30″ more minutes later we were told, in essence, that the diagnostics failed, and that we had to leave the plane so that they could do a “test flight” to make sure that everything runs smoothly.
It is now 11:15, the flight is supposed to leave at “11:30 AM”, which is 15 minutes before my connecting flight is supposed to leave from Minneapolis to Seattle, and the plane has not even left the ground for its “test flight”.
So instead of getting to Seattle at 2PM I am poised to make a Midnight entrance, and now I am too mad to type anything else…
