Well, Northwest Airlines kept bumping me back in the On-Call list, so I cancelled my flight today and rescheduled it for Friday morning. I also bumped back my return flight from Sunday until Tuesday, so my trip will be the same length. To do this, I had to take an extra day off of work (damn!) and reschedule my rental car reservation. Amusingly enough, when I got home from the airport I was in a very grumpy mood, and very tired as well. After a short call to the rental car place, I’m back in good spirits (but still very tired). There was something about the voice on the other end of that phone which was very soothing and calming.
