Gas in Wisconsin has risen about $0.60 a gallon this year and now stands at $2.39 (that is less then $0.10 cheaper then Los Angeles according to www.gaspricewatch.com). Starting on April 1, the Wisconsin gas tax will rise to 29.9 cents per gallon, a new state record (and since we are the highest taxed state in the US, a new national record), so gas prices will rise above $2.40 a gallon. I am thankful that I live close to school and work.
